Best Practices for using Best Case Concealer
- Apply light layers. Any tool can be used but sponges are recommended for those with texture issues like dryness.
- Lock down your skin care routine, and be sure to exfoliate regularly with a chemical exfoliant.
- Apply moisturizer beforehand to prime the skin and even out your skin's natural oils.
- Set lightly with a translucent powder if you have oily skin and you prefer to keep the shine down throughout the day (if you like a dewy look then feel free to skip!)

Packaging
Zero waste. We designed this system to be as good for the planet as it is for your face. We spent months talking to recycling experts, and researching all the ways we could deliver these precious square babies to y'all without compromising our standards. We landed on simple envelopes that are both recyclable and made from post consumer recycled paper. They have a small insert in the front to protect the tints, but don't worry if your pan becomes intimate with the insert and things...get a little messy. It's perfectly normal for the tint to get on the back of the insert and won't affect the quality of your product at all.

I had heard nothing but rave reviews, so I decided to try a few Salt products. For the Best Case Concealer, I got the peach light to use as a color corrector for my purple under eye circles. I like the color, it neutralizes my circles well. But I’m not thrilled with the consistency. I have tried LOTS of under eye concealers, and this is good but not my favorite. It’s a bit creamier/more oily than I like under my eyes. It tends to slide more than other products I’ve used, especially when set with powder. With or without powder, it creases into my fine lines, and only kinda blends back out. It doesn’t layer that well, but one really thin layer is nice, and I’ve been fine with just 1 layer and less coverage. I need to keep playing with my base underneath this, cause bare skin and my SPF are just ok. Anything too hydrating makes it slide. I do love the sneaky balm for the rest of my face though!
I use variants of the Best Case as corrector, spot concealer, and sheered out and blended to even out skin tone. It’s versatile and has preferably-less sheen than the Sneaky Balm for me. I brought my Salt palette to New York for a wknd trip last week, and it worked a treat for a low fuss daytime look which was easy to clean off for a fresh and more perfected look at night. The new dusty-green version of the Sneaky Balm works beautifully with this, as well.
I am new to SALT and was truly thrilled to find a concealer that actually conceals!
This makeup has been great! It seems to stay all day when I apply a translucent powder on top of it. I like the lightweight feel, and it doesn’t feel greasy!
I just got my second refill of this concealer and it took me nearly a year to use the first one (I only wear makeup a few days a week). Other concealers I've tried are too cakey or too creasy. This one looks very natural (amazing color match service!) and blends beautifully with whatever skincare products I use. Best of all it feels like you aren't wearing makeup, it's been a dream product for me :)
