The Quad

I was surprised how good the quality feels in your hand. It feels nice and weighty. Zips well and love how compact it is. The mirror size is nice. I'm glad I got it. Love having all my shades readily available and easy to mix and match them.

I'm an early 60s lifetime avowed makeup addict (and I don't use that term lightly). Not a makeup artist, but I'm extremely practiced with makeup in every format and have bought untold thou$and$ worth of makeup over the past 50 years. I've always carried a makeup bag of products with me... everywhere. But Salt New York has made me realize I wasn't a makeup "addict" but actually on a QUEST for the perfect foundation, blush, contour & highlighter. Over all these years, I'd found one highlighter, one contour, and a couple blushes that worked "well enough," but had never found a foundation nor concealer that matched my skintone and wasn't sadly apparent on my face, despite my accrued application talent and an array of tools. I'd also dreamed of an all-in-one makeup palette with actually good products in it. And not one that's a mix of powders & creams, because powders flake into creams and ruin the whole thing, plus most all-in-one palettes don't allow for choosing your own shades, defeating the spirit & purpose of an all-in-one palette for me. So a couple months ago, as I yet again idly web-searched for this mystical all-in-one 🦄, I checked reddit to see what's been recommended recently. Salt New York kept being cited, so I went to their website and, using my very experienced eye & their excellent, NON-MISLEADING photos, ordered N13 Sneaky Balm, Pearl highlighter, Lip/Cheek in Light Mauve, and contour in Taupe, plus the super-cool & extremely functional little 4-pan zippered case. $96 total. I've spent twice that on one super-high-end foundation that didn't even come close to matching my skintone. I was in disbelief at first upon applying these products. They MELD into my combination skin in a way nothing else ever has. I've never used makeup that shade-matched so perfectly and looked so LITERALLY undetectable. Even on my oilyish T-zone, this makeup is undetectable. So I've come back for a slightly deeper color of lip/cheek (Mauve Medium), the Best Case concealer also in N13, plus the highlighter in Beige, which I plan to use as an everyday easy eyeshadow. Now, instead of carrying a heavy jangling bag of individual disappointing products, I have one slim powerhouse case that just feels so sleek & simple, yet what's inside truly makes me look quite naturally beautiful (especially for a 62 year old magic crone! 🧙🏻‍♀️). Outstanding job, Ms. Kiki! Not only are your products beyond-belief wonderful, but I also appreciate the fair prices, no-plastic sustainability, and cruelty-free ethical basis of your entire line. Sorry for this "tome," but for anyone who's hesitating, this is the stuff that will end your quest for cosmetic perfection, 'cause this is IT.

The entire experience felt so luxe from the packaging to the formulas. I absolutely loved the blushes, they add luminosity without emphasizing any texture. I do wish that the tone of the bronzer was a little more neutral however I still can make it work and haven’t been able to stop reaching for this quad since I received it! Will definitely purchase more items from salt

With this palette, I was able to depot 9 of my favorite cream products from various brands. I ended up buying 2 palettes in case I need another at some point. Love being able to carry all my favs in one palette as opposed to having to carry around 9 different pieces of packaging. Just wish they still carried the larger size!! The larger palette was honestly perfect, I wish they hadn't discontinued it.

I am beyond impressed with how well the shades blend and cover all while being extremely lightweight feeling on the skin. The concealer shade is especially magical! Blueness around my eyes just disappears!

All the product packaging is A++ too. I love so much that it is very minimal packaging and no plastic.

I am in love. I bought the quad to be for my travel bag but I can't quit using it in my daily routine at home!
