Best Practices for using Sneaky Balm
- Remember that it is made to be worn as a tint and apply light layers.
- Lock down your skin care routine, and be sure to exfoliate regularly with a chemical exfoliant.
- Apply moisturizer beforehand to prime the skin and even out your skin's natural oils.
- Set lightly with a translucent powder if you have oily skin and you prefer to keep the shine down throughout the day (if you like a dewy look then feel free to skip!)

The sneakiest skin tint. A soft, dewy finish. Long lasting for a hydrating skin tint type of formula, not long lasting compared to a matte finish liquid foundation, so let's say medium lasting? Medium lasting! They're chock full of nourishing ingredients like pomegranate, jojoba, & grape seed oils, and contain absolutely zero nonsense ingredients like talc, fragrance, or mineral oil.

Packaging
Zero waste. We designed this system to be as good for the planet as it is for your face. We spent months talking to recycling experts, and researching all the ways we could deliver these precious square babies to y'all without compromising our standards. We landed on simple envelopes that are both recyclable and made from post consumer recycled paper. They have a small insert in the front to protect the tints, but don't worry if your pan becomes intimate with the insert and things...get a little messy. It's perfectly normal for the tint to get on the back of the insert and won't affect the quality of your product at all.

This is just the best foundation for a super-natural, glowy, my skin but better look. Im over wearing heavy makeup and love the casual French girl touch up that’s still me but fresher. This is perfect for that and brilliant for traveling.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. It’s lightweight but gives good coverage along with the concealer. It feels and looks like skin and doesn’t break me out! My skin feels and looks better after using it

I follow a few influencers on YouTube who love the sneaky balm (Sam Ravndahl, Hannah Louise Poston), but I was nervous to try it because I have olive undertone skin and so few products actually look right. The sneaky balm in n11 is perfect. Perfect. I love it so much and my skin hasn't had any negative reaction to it. Kiki, please don't ever stop making it. I'll be heartbroken if I have to find a new foundation.

I am usually not a big fan of balm foundations in a pan, they have never really worked. But the Sneaky Balm is just absolutely perfect! It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, is completely undetectable, leaves a beautiful finish and (!) my very sensitive and reactive skin loves it! Also the shade number 13 is a perfect match! Where do I start? I purchased this product on a whim before an event, desperate for something that wouldn't make me look orange on camera. I'm a very fair skin tone and have historically struggled with finding a match, often busting out blue, green, or white color mixers to make something look closer to my skin tone. Even in 2025, most brands offer shades too orange, too peach, or too yellow, and even if they're fair enough, they're often too saturated. Worse are the products that sort-of-kind-of match but then start crumbling off your face by the end of the day, patch up, or crease and reveal your age.
Enter Sneaky Balm. The first time I applied this - and yes, I did anxiously refresh the tracking all day and then run out of my house to rescue it from my hot mailbox - I thought it simply wasn't applying because of how seamlessly it matched my skin. Simply put, I dabbed my damp sponge in, patted... dabbed it back in... patted... confused that it wasn't transferring. At some point, impatient, I took a big finger swatch and smeared it on the center of my face. It was in that moment that I realized that the Sneaky Balm was such a perfect match that I had trouble SEEING it, even in front of my Ilios makeup mirror with the light blasting my retinas. I think at some point I said, "No way," to no one in particular as I proceeded to add more product all over my face.
Then I moved on to the concealer, patting it under my eyes and around my dark areas (I have recessed eyes, so deep tear troughs that look blue all around from the corner of my eye to the outside). And again, I marveled. My undereyes positively GLOWED but not in the, "I just put concealer three shades too light and now everything's grey" kind of way. I didn't even add my usual peach corrector to warm the area up. It just looked perfect from the get-go.
Best part? It doesn't even look makeup-y! I have rosacea and will get red bumps from time to time that can get dry and look angry, but the Sneaky Balm + Salt NY Concealer covers it FLAWLESSLY. I have only needed to mix the olive mixer in ONCE, and that was for a particularly bright red spot.
And for the wear? Oh my god - to die for. I want buried in this product because I know it won't make me look drier, even if I am six feet under. I'm in my mid-thirties now and if a product doesn't look like I rubbed ashes all over my skin by the end of the day, it bunches up into fine lines I wasn't aware I had yet. It always lead me to this conundrum of piling on more skincare to prevent my makeup from crusting up, which then causes it to move around. Not Sneaky Balm! I put on a milky toner, prescription topicals (which are pretty drying), and HaruHaru sunscreen, let dry... and viola! Sneaky Balm just settles in like, "This is great babe, no notes."
I've included some swatches of Sneaky Balm against some of my other foundations and concealer matches so you can see just how WONDERFULLY desaturated and absolutely gorgeous this product is.
