I have skin so fair that it is nearly translucent and every single color in the “light” palette transforms into a beautiful pink when I put it on my face. I love that the highlighter isn’t too shimmery or wet looking, and I appreciate the wear time and durability of the cheek and lip products once set down. I find the colors to be very natural looking and nothing felt heavy or like it sat on top of the skin or layered on top of other products. Sets well with a setting mist getting me through a full work day in the office (~10 hours).

The HLP collection is stunning! Been using it every day since the day I got it. Looks great on my cooler toned skin. I even got the collection my mom for Christmas. She loves it too!

Every single blush I've used has made me look like a clown or turned orange, until I tried Old Gum. I have oily skin so I did my base as usual, powdered, then tapped Old Gum on my cheeks. It almost looked grey on first application! I kept tapping it on and layering it up, it was impossible to overdo. And I was left with the most natural look, the only way to describe it was "my cheeks but better". No more clown makeup! There were no problems putting it on top of powder and it lasted on my oily cheeks. PLEASE MAKE THIS PERMANENT.

I am in love with this makeup! The color Aniseed is beautiful (well, they all are beautiful) I was introduced to this makeup brand when I received it from my sister who also loves the products but needed one shade darker in Sneaky Balm. I benefitted from being so pale because her original choice fit me perfectly. I have now purchased so many different colors of blushes, bronzers, and concealers and probably need to stop! My only wish... that they still made the large palette so I could get my new obsession all together in one place.

I got the light quad because I'm fair and cool-neutral toned (almost more yellow than pink, but definitely cool-leaning), which means that it's easy for blushes to end up overpowering on me. These though, go on and blend out easily and add some very natural-looking color to my face, great over a light base layer (I use mineral powder foundation and setting spray).

As someone who is fairly picky about lip products, the solid colors also look and feel great on my lips. I wish they came came in a twist up tube, so that I could drop one in my pocket or purse and easily reapply through the day. The quad case is very nice and all, but it's a lot to carry with me for a quick after-lunch touch-up at work. So I deducted one star for inconvenient packaging, which is possibly unfair of me :-P

I was worried the highlighter would look greasy because of its texture. But, at least in winter, the oily base absorbs quickly and leaves a very natural, healthy-looking glow, probably indeed the most natural-looking highlighter I've ever worn. As other reviewers have commented, these are very much geared for a "no-makeup" look, but since that's what I like, they're very much my speed.
